Welcome to ACE. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English — if anything's unclear, get in touch.
ACE is a phone-based line-calling, stats and clip-recording app for recreational and competitive tennis players. ACE uses your device's camera to track rallies, generate line calls, and produce match statistics and short shareable clips. Phone-based tracking is not a substitute for official Hawk-Eye in tournament settings — see section 7.
You must be at least 16 years old to use ACE. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. One person per account, please.
ACE Pro is an optional paid subscription. Pro unlocks unlimited challenges, in-depth Pro Insights, AI-detected highlight clips, the match recap and the ACE Rating. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the App Store and auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your store settings — cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
Your scores, stats, ratings, ladders and rivalries belong to you. You decide what to share with friends, opponents, or the wider ACE community. You can export or delete your data anytime from Account settings.
ACE Pro highlight clips and your match statistics are stored securely in your ACE account so they're available on any device. Your footage is yours: we never post or share it without your explicit permission, and clips and match data may be used in anonymised form to improve ACE's ball and court detection. Deleting a match — or your account — deletes its clips and data from our servers. Exported clips carry a small ACE watermark.
Be a good sport. Don't use ACE to harass other players, share clips of someone without their consent, or attempt to manipulate the rating, ladder or line-calling systems. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service.
ACE provides phone-tracked line calls and serve speeds that are accurate within reasonable margins for recreational and club play (serve speed approximately ±10%). ACE is not certified for official tournament use and is not a substitute for Hawk-Eye or other professional officiating systems. The app is provided "as is," without warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACE is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app — including disagreements between players over a call, a match result, a ladder position or a rivalry record.
We may update these terms as the product grows. If we make a material change, we'll notify you in the app before it takes effect, and ask you to re-accept where required.
