Privacy policy

Last updated · 1 May 2026

We built ACE to respect your data. Here's exactly what we collect, what stays on your phone, and what we don't do.

What we collect

Your clips & match data

Highlight clips (ACE Pro) and match statistics are stored securely in your ACE account — that's what makes them available across your devices and shareable as links. We never post, sell, or share your footage without your explicit permission. Clips and match data may be used in anonymised form to improve ACE's detection accuracy. When you calibrate the court, ACE also saves that calibration photo and its corner points — used only in anonymised form to make court detection better for everyone. Free matches record no video at all. Deleting a match or your account removes its clips, calibration photos and data from our servers. The watermark on exported clips identifies ACE; it does not identify you.

What we don't do

How we use the data we have

Third parties we use

A small number of trusted services help ACE run: Apple for sign-in and billing, Google for sign-in, our cloud hosting provider for storing your stats, and an email service for transactional messages. None of them receive your match video.

Your rights

You can view, export or delete your account data anytime from Account settings. Deleting your account removes your stats, ratings, ladder history and rivalries.

Children

ACE is for players aged 16 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Data retention

We keep your match history as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days, except where law requires us to retain something longer (for example billing records).

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a material way, we'll let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
